Invisalign® - Invisible Braces in Conway, Arkansas!

Perfect for patients who want to straighten their smiles without the inconvenience of metal braces, we offer invisalign® invisible braces, at the Conway, Arkansas office of Dr. Ellis. Invisalign, the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces, uses a series of clear, removable plastic appliances called aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each invisalign® aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have adjusted into the final position that Dr. Ellis has prescribed. Generally, our invisalign® patients visit our Conway, Arkansas office every six weeks to ensure that treatment is progressing as planned.

How does invisalign® work?
A computer model is generated from custom-made impressions of your teeth. Align Technology, the company that created invisalign®, takes information collected at our Little Rock office and uses its advanced proprietary 3-D imaging software to create a graphical representation of Dr. Ellis's treatment plan, almost like an animated movie of the way your teeth will move from the current alignment to the final desired position. Dr. Ellis will analyze how your teeth will work with these invisible braces (using internet technology at his Conway, Arkansas practice). Afterwards, Align Technology produces a series of unique, custom-made clear plastic aligners that correspond to the stages of tooth movement shown in the 3-D movie.

How long does treatment take?
Total treatment time varies depending on the severity of tooth misalignment. Minor tooth alignment can be corrected in as little as six months with invisalign® invisible braces at our Conway, Arkansas office. Treatment times for a typical case average from 9 to 15 months, with patients wearing 18 to 30 aligners (on average) over the entire course of treatment. The process is so efficient that treatment times can be half that of traditional metal braces.

What are the primary benefits of invisalign®?
invisalign® is nearly invisible: You wear braces without anyone knowing.
invisalign® is removable: You can eat and drink what you want.
invisalign® allows better oral hygiene: You can brush and floss normally for ideal dental health.
invisalign® is comfortable: There are no wires, metal, or brackets to cause mouth irritation.

What does invisalign® cost?
Each case of treatment is customized for your particular needs, and the fees are determined accordingly. The fee for minor cases lasting six months is about $1800 to $3200. The fee for a typical case lasting 9 to 15 months is $4200 to $5200. In most cases, the fees for invisalign® invisible braces are less than traditional metal braces.

Will my insurance cover invisalign®?
Typically, insurance that covers traditional braces also covers invisalign® treatment.

Is financing available for invisalign®?
We offer patients receiving treatment with invisalign® invisible braces at our Little Rock, Arkansas practice a special financial arrangement through CareCredit®.
